Stephen Sidgwick picks up Post Graduate Certificate in Forensic Investigation

Congratulations to Stephen Sidgwick who picked up his Post Graduate Certificate in Forensic Investigation, on Thursday 18th July at Cranfield University.

A few words from Stephen:

“Cranfield is a fantastic institution and in particular the Forensic Institute is an amazing place to study. The lecturers still work within industry solving all sorts of failures of products and materials among many other disciplines. They are very current and still practice at the forefront of their fields and guest lecturers supplement this experience.

We had a top barrister and a professor in law from Oxford University on the Courtroom Skills module, for example.

I was fortunate enough to be asked to lecture as a guest on the Approach to Failure Investigation and Analysis module. I concentrated on the failure of bridges and buildings and the practical approach to site investigation and data gathering.

I am really pleased and proud to now be part of the Cranfield Alumni”.
