My career at Frankham started 10 years ago as a Junior Assistant Accountant. I was a young, partly qualified Accountant from ACCA, who was new to the role, enthusiastic to learn and hard working.

From my experience, Frankham has a positive attitude towards training people at all levels and as a result, I have received the support and motivation to gain my ACCA and progress in my career. In December 2015 I became an Associate Director and the Group’s Chief Accountant. It’s been a tough journey and my role is demanding, however, I have received a lot of support from the Frankham team and I am managing well.

Achieving my ACCA has given me confidence when communicating with internal and external clients, as well as the Senior Management Team. It has also helped me to develop strong leadership skills and due to the knowledge and experience I have gained I am now responsible for training other members of staff to use our in house accounting software, Workbench.

Since joining Frankham I have married and now have a four year old daughter. My Managers have always been supportive and understanding during and after pregnancy. I feel that I work in a very friendly environment, where everyone has a team oriented attitude and a willingness to help each other.
