Our CDM services

We provide end‑to‑end CDM support, delivering practical guidance that keeps people safe throughout every stage of a project. Our experienced team ensures clear, compliant, and efficient project delivery across multiple sectors.

CDM Principal Designer

Under the CDM Regulations 2015, the Principal Designer is an integral role, co-ordinating the health and safety of the design, construction and use of construction projects. We work pragmatically and proportionately to ensure that your project achieves full CDM compliance, using the Principles of Prevention, reducing risk and ensuring clarity, whilst reducing the burden on cost and programme.

  • We deliver a thorough and involved service, including the provision of key CDM documentation.
  • We host design workshops where we interrogate proposals and gain a clear understanding of how the design will impact future users.
  • We co-ordinate the wider design team, ensuring efficient and trouble-free progression throughout the project.
  • Our team has extensive experience, with backgrounds in design, site management, and health and safety.
  • Our experts draw on their wealth of knowledge to ensure your project receives the best advice and reaches the best solution.
  • Our experience spans sports stadiums, residential developments (high and low rise), education, transport, healthcare, commercial projects, and decarbonisation.

What we deliver:

  • Design team meetings
  • Design risk review workshops
  • Documentation: Pre-Construction Information, Significant Design Risk Register, review of Construction Phase Plan, production of F10, Health and Safety File
  • Site visits
  • Client meetings.

CDM Principal Designer Advisor

We provide the role of CDM Principal Designer Advisor, when appointed by Principal Designers who retain the responsibility but require support in carrying out the duties.

This role can include anything from providing highlevel advice to delivering the full scope outlined above, giving you flexibility to scale our support up or down as your project progresses. This role enables a lightertouch approach, offering excellent value for money.

CDM Client Advisor

We often work as a Client Advisor, ensuring that the client is supported in carrying out their duties under CDM, which includes:

  • Providing assurance from a governance perspective because we understand that clients have many responsibilities to juggle.
  • Monitoring duty holders on behalf of the client.
  • Providing early warning of any potential issues.
  • Undertaking some of the client duties, such as reviewing the Construction Phase Plan and producing the F10 notification (where we are appointed as PD, we include these items as a matter of course, to assist the client as added value).
