External Wall Surveys

At Robson Frankham, we are currently carrying out external wall surveys on a large number of buildings to ensure the building owners, or occupants, that the external walls of their buildings are not going to significantly increase the potential risk of external fire spread.

This would typically involve the opening up of at least 2 areas of each building wall type, to enable us to inspect all materials from the rear face of the internal plasterboard to the external building face.

These materials, when known, will be assessed against the design guidance relevant at the time of construction and that in place today, as well as any government guidance.

Where materials are not known it may be possible for our team to provide judgement on what they are, or further investigation or testing of the materials may be necessary.
