COVID Secure Assessments in Bishop’s Stortford

Frankham Risk Management Services have recently been appointed to deliver a series of COVID Secure Assessments across a portfolio of in excess of 200 businesses within the Bishop’s Stortford CBD, on behalf of Bishop’s Stortford Business Improvement District.

BIDs are business-led partnerships which are created through a ballot process to deliver additional services to local businesses. A BID is a defined area in which a levy is charged on all business rate payers in addition to the business rates bill. This levy is used to develop projects which will benefit businesses in the local area – our COVID Secure Assessments being one example.

The Bishop’s Stortford Business Improvement District reported the offer saying the initiative has been designed to:

• Provide reassurance to businesses that they have all COVID Secure measures implemented.
• Give customers the confidence that Bishop’s Stortford is a safe place to visit.
• Ensure the town is as safe as possible and enable businesses to stay open.

With fines of up to £10,000 for non-compliance with Government Guidance it has never been more important to be sure your business is COVID Secure and has a range of COVID-19 control measures in place in order to protect staff and visitors.
