Undertaking a suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessment is the cornerstone of building safety and the primary requirement of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Our goal is not only to ensure your absolute legal compliance but to provide you with recommendations and remedial strategies that are highly practical and cost-effective.

We specialise in delivering highly accurate FRAs across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, residential, retail, civic buildings, healthcare, and the leisure industry. As a BAFE SP205 accredited organisation, you can be assured of the highest standards of competency and quality assurance.

Type 1 & Type 3 Fire Risk Assessments

We provide fully compliant FRAs to ensure strict conformity with the RR(FS)O 2005 and relevant British Standards (including BS 9792).

Type 1 FRAs: The standard, non-destructive assessment of the common parts of a building. We identify fire hazards, evaluate existing safety measures, and provide a clear action plan.
Type 3 FRAs: For additional assurance in residential buildings, we are fully capable of augmenting our standard assessments to a Type 3. This goes beyond the common areas to include a non-destructive assessment of a sample of individual flats, ensuring a more comprehensive understanding of the building’s overall risk profile.

Type 2 & Type 4 FRAs (Intrusive Assessments)

When a building’s history is unknown, or serious compartmentation breaches are suspected, a visual inspection is not enough. We provide full Type 4 or Type 2 FRAs, which involve destructive, intrusive inspections of the building fabric.

Comprehensive Compartmentation Checks: We assess the hidden voids, structural fire stopping, and materials within both common areas (Type 2) and individual dwellings (Type 4).
Targeted Individual Assessments: Where there is limited access, we can undertake intrusive compartmentation assessments on individual dwellings.
Making Good: Our intrusive assessment fees include both an experienced intrusive fire consultant and a FIRAS accredited fire-proofing contractor.
