The Frankham rail-focused building surveying team and structural & electrical engineers designed a purpose built enclosed cycle hub using land recovered from an embankment to the car park immediately adjacent to platform 1.
202 new cycle storage spaces were provided in a CCTV monitored and weather protected building, along with a maintenance and repair area for cyclist use. A safe access route from the main road, across the car park was defined as well as ramped/step free access to the facility.
