Gordon is the Director of Structural and Civil Engineering at the Frankham Consultancy Group, responsible for the strategic planning, resourcing, and delivery of complex structural projects. With over 35 years of professional experience, including 32 years of dedicated design expertise, he consistently delivers cost-efficient, high-quality engineering solutions across both the public and private sectors.
Operating extensively within a multidisciplinary BIM environment, Gordon possesses deep technical knowledge of 3D design modelling and software integration. His expertise spans structural inspections, risk assessments, desktop studies, and complex structural justifications for existing and historic buildings.
Gordon is a recognised authority in transport and retail infrastructure. He has played a pivotal role in the commercial development of the rail estate, most notably leading his team to develop the civil and structural elements of the official Network Rail Arch Design Guide. His portfolio also includes major structural refurbishments, vertical extensions, and multi-million-pound remodelling of Grade II listed properties and high-street retail spaces.
