David is a seasoned fire safety professional with 25 years’ experience across multiple sectors. At Frankham Risk Management Services, he leads the operational delivery of safety and compliance for clients’ building portfolios, ensuring standards are consistently met. His background spans fire consultancy and risk analysis in the commercial, retail, residential, and education sectors. It is built on earlier roles in operational firefighting, fire safety management within a major global corporate bank, and specialist consultancy providing risk assessments and intrusive inspections.
David is also the producer and co‑presenter of the acclaimed industry show The Openfire Podcast, which has featured Dame Judith Hackitt, Sir Ken Knight and Sir Bob Neill. A highly experienced project leader, he brings extensive expertise in fire safety and risk management. He is a Chartered Director and a member of the Institute of Directors’ Policy Voice Group, contributing monthly analysis and insight on key business issues across a range of industries.
