With over 45 years of professional experience, Sean currently leads a team of Chartered Surveyors and other specialists in the delivery of works projects, building pathology assessments, and technical reports – primarily within the transport, health, housing, industrial, and education sectors.
He started his career with London Transport working in the rail environment on building fabric maintenance and refurbishment projects. This established a rail sector focussed career supporting TfL, Network Rail and numerous ToCs. He has also extensive experience in Party Wall Act matters and lease-related issues associated with property acquisition and disposal. This includes the preparation and negotiation of dilapidations on behalf of both landlords and tenants.
Sean provides expert witness support in cases involving property defects and dispute resolution. His capabilities also extend to the investigation of damp and mould issues, providing strategic remediation advice. He is a co-author of the RICS Guidance Note on Commercial and Industrial Surveys, contributing to best practices across the profession.
