Frankham Risk Management Services secures Fire Door Inspection Certification

Frankham Risk Management Services proudly announces that following an extensive review of our fire door inspection procedures, training and certification documentation, we have met the requirements of the Bluesky Fire Door Inspection Certification Scheme.

This is a UKAS accredited scheme, which demonstrates to our clients that our fire door surveys are carried out to a third party accredited standard. This enables us to assist our clients in assuring compliance with the Building Regulations 2010, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and most recently the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022. It also gives the reassurance that we will undergo regular external and internal ongoing audits and are able to prove that our Inspectors maintain the competency to deliver the highest quality fire door inspections. Fantastic all round!

A big thanks to everyone that made this happen, especially to Paige Weekes Tech IOSH, our designated Fire Door Inspector Supervisor. Paige joined Frankham in October 2019 as a Principal CDM and Health and Safety Consultant, her career path led her into Fire Consultancy in January 2022 after completing Unit 2 Fire Risk Assessment Fundamental Principles and the Fire Door Inspection Scheme Diploma. She is currently on the BRE Level 3 Award in Fire Door Inspection and Level 4 CFPA Fire Qualification.

Paige has worked hard over the last 18 months to demonstrate her competency as a fire risk assessor and fire door inspector and we are delighted she has volunteered to take on this latest challenge.
