The role includes for the full design of sixty replacement lift modernisations on residential high and medium rise housing blocks.
As Frankham are already retained by Enfield Homes as Contract Administrators on the lift maintenance contract within the London Borough, it was an ideal opportunity to also secure the Capital spend commitment for Enfield Homes. Thus allowing us to design and project manage the lift replacement schemes over the next five years, in parallel with the contract administration of the lift maintenance contract.
The first phase of works is under way, with the lift engineers currently designing seventeen replacement units, all of which were completed in March 2012. The contract is in place until 2017 coupled with the full time appointment of contract administration of the lift maintenance contract.
The dual roles require the full-time commitment of one resident engineer for the design and delivery of all new lifts and the contract administration and project management of all lift issues within the London Borough of Enfield.
