Scotty’s Little Soldiers

James Clements, Oliver Morse, Brian Gallagher and Paul Marsh represented Frankham Consultancy Group at the annual Network Rail two hour endurance Go-Karting event to raise funds for Scotty’s Little Soldiers. The charity supports children who have lost parents serving in the British Armed Forces and has helped over 400 children in the past 10 years.

A substantial sum of money was raised but the headline is that in true Frankham style we led from the front and brought home the trophy.

Scotty's Little Soldiers

After starting third, James battled his way to the front by lap three and never looked back, building a lead of nearly a lap. Oliver jumped in and continued to extend the lead despite having his kart stall during a brief red flag before handing over to Brian who maintained our lead negotiating his way through the back markers.

With 30 minutes to go our lead was just under one lap and Paul settled in to bring us home until the penultimate lap when under a full course caution our lead was cut to 10 seconds but Frankham held on to take the honours!
