Network Rail – Liverpool Street Station
Frankham Consultancy Group Limited has been commissioned to undertake the role of Principal Designer under the Construction Design Management Regulations 2015, on behalf of the Network Rail Ltd.
Frankham will also be providing Building Surveying and Architecture Services, as part of our multi-disciplinary Group. All disciplines will be involved for the duration of the project from Grip stages 1-8.
The aim of the project is to reconfigure unit 51, at Liverpool Street Station into two separate units.
The project will include the upgrade of the Broadgate link Passage, in order to help improve the design and enhance passenger experience when visiting the Station.
Due to the site being located at one of the busiest Train Stations within Great Britain, Frankham project team will be working closely alongside the main contractor to ensure all live risks are actively managed, and where possible, eliminated through the use of adequate safety procedures and the appropriate methods for the refurbishments works.
In our role as Principal Designer we will compile pre-construction information and advise the Principal Contractor of their legal duties, ensuring all necessary project documentation is produced prior to works commencing.
Risk factors have been taken in to consideration, such as working in a high risk environment within a live and fully operational Station.
