Frankham Projects resolve planning issue

Frankham Projects resolves a long-standing planning enforcement issue.

The enforcement issue, relates to the change of use of the first floor of the Bull Tavern from residential (Class C3) to HMO (sui generis).

Planning permission was secured for the change of use, with timescales agreed to resolve outstanding issues and enforcement proceedings.

The Council were initially reticent to the idea of retaining the use and unhappy with the standard of accommodation created, threatening to issue an enforcement notice.

Meetings with the Council’s Planning Officers took place and we proposed alterations to the layout.  Agreed with the client beforehand and fed into the decision process by assisting in formulating conditions, safeguarding our client’s interests and the Council’s position.

Leaving the client happy with our service and relieved to have finally overcome the threat of enforcement.
