Frankham Consultancy Group are pleased to announce that Lindsey Dobbin has been promoted to Assistant Engineering Manager – Maritime within the civil engineering department.

Lindsey joined Frankham in the summer of 2013 about a week after his final exams at Plymouth University. His journey at Frankham began working mainly on rail, reactive maintenance and highways projects before specialising in maritime.

Over the years he has developed his technical, managerial and leadership skills by working on projects from conception to completion. As his capabilities have grown the company has given him more responsibilities and shown trust in his ability to deliver for our clients.

Lindsey commented

“Frankham have always supported me by providing training and relevant competencies ranging from construction contracts courses, health and safety at work courses and an approved ICE training agreement.

I was the first Frankham trainee to become a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers as an Incorporated Engineer in 2018 and then as a Chartered Engineer in 2020.

I’m proud to work at Frankham and relish the challenging and interesting projects we are involved in.”

Lindsey is now the market lead for the Maritime Division spearheading an exciting young team with ambitious plans to continue our growth.

Stephen Sidgwick, Head of Civil Engineering, stated

“Lindsey is seen as a key part of the future of the Civil Engineering Department and the Frankham business. Lindsey has excelled at his professional qualifications and developed into a very capable engineer and leader in general and this key market. He has maintained the Maritime team and is set to put Frankham at the forefront in this specialist area of engineering.”
