The project comprises of a 51 flat, three-storey development as an Extra Care Scheme providing a mix of one and two bedroom flats for rented and Shared Ownership occupation.

The scheme will provide a communal lounge, cafeteria to serve both residents and the public, commercial space for a GP or pharmacy and hairdressing, together with support staff facilities.

The site is owned by the client and we are engaged as Employer’s Agent on the main Design and Build scheme, which was tendered and programmed to commence in February 2013. Frankham were also commissioned as Contract Administrator for the removal of asbestos and subsequent demolition of the client’s housing stock currently occupying the site.
