Frankham Consultancy Group was commissioned as part of the Void Refurbishment Framework to re-configure this Grade II listed Georgian terrace property. Our brief was to refurbish the top floor flat and carry out external decorations and repairs.
The works comprised of a full internal refurbishment including a new kitchen, silent floor system and secondary glazing along with the conversion of an existing roof into a new terrace area providing the client with a new amenity space. The conversion required Listed Building Consent and structural design.
The roofworks involved upgrading the existing roof covering with new insulation to comply with current building regulations and installation of new rooflights to provide the property with more daylight.
The external redecoration works included the repair and renewal of historic features including leadwork roofs, repointing, cast iron railings, rainwater goods and window repairs.
