Frankham provided CDM Coordination services on a project to upgrade the mechanical and electrical systems and improve resilience, energy efficiency and the capacity of the existing systems at the Santander Data Centre in Shenley Wood.
Work carried out included the replacement of chillers, installation of chilled water buffer tanks, re-configuration of the linkage of air conditioning units, relocation of the generator fuel farm and increasing the size of louvred vents into the building.
Frankham’s fully qualified CDM Coordinators form a part of our dedicated Construction Safety Team, and fulfil the statutory role of CDMc for projects of this size and complexity. The Construction Safety Team acts as the Client’s key project advisor on various aspects of safety regarding design and construction of the project, ensuring the Client meets its regulatory obligations.
As technical experts in construction safety, the Frankham Construction Safety Team provides Clients with a clear picture of these aspects of their projects in a jargon-free manner, reducing the Client’s burden and ensuring the smooth running of the project.
