Savills acting on behalf of Diageo Pension Trust instructed Lane & Frankham to undertake a desktop measurement exercise to prepare area referencing reports on a unit by unit basis from the existing AutoCAD General Arrangement plans which they held. The units were to be measured on a Net or Gross Internal Area basis, depending on size.

All units Greater than 25,000 sq ft were to be measured on a GIA basis only, units less than 25,000 sq ft were to be measured on an NIA basis only. Existing floor plans were provided and this data was stripped back to show just structural and relevant detail.

Net or Gross Internal Area Reports, in accordance with the latest RICS Code of Measuring Practice were prepared on a unit by unit basis. Retail zoning was also provided on units less than 25,000 sq ft based on standard Northern Ireland zoning protocols.

The centre contained 32 units over circa 150,000 sq ft.

An Internal Area report was created for each unit, including a schedule and reference drawing. A full and complete report was produced for the centre containing a single overall schedule providing NIA and ITZA figures.
