Frankham progressing at the Northwich Park Hospital site
Work on the Modular Build at Northwick Park Hospital is progressing well and to programme with diversion of the existing services including surface and foul water drainage and the medical gas pipeline now complete.
Frankham’s commission included Technical Assurance Advisor/Employer’s Agent/Project Manager and has involved working closely with the Trust’s Project Management Team, providing a due diligence review of the existing documents, assisting the Trust’s Project Manager in Gateway Reviews and a review of the Contractor’s design proposals during the detailed design phase.
The Trust are aiming for a BREEAM Target of Very Good.
Delivery of the modules was coordinated through careful planning and logistics with the Contractor, MTX and the Trust and now that the modules have been delivered, the process of making the buildings watertight and the internal fit out has commenced in earnest.
When it completes in November the building will provide a four storey 63 bed Treatment and Assessment Unit which is linked to the existing Emergency Department and Block E.
