Fast and Furious Frankham at the annual Network Rail Charity Go Karting
Frankham entered a team in the annual Network Rail Charity Go-Karting event aiming to win having previously lifted the trophy two years ago, but failing to make the podium on the last outing.
The hand-picked team, made up of Brian Gallagher, Paul Marsh and Oliver Morse led from start to finish enduring a multitude of weather across a 2 hour endurance slot. A grid start from Brian in bright September Sunshine changed on Lap 32 to a torrential downpour that meant for Oliver speed was less important than simply making sure the kart was pointing in the right direction, and it was handed to Paul to bring home the checkered flag with a comfortable 2 lap lead. Well done to the boys!
Frankham was pleased to support Network Rail in their Charity Go-Karting Event supporting Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity set up to support children who have lost parents whilst serving their country.
